Government Contracting

Mental Health Programs for Government & Employers. Ready to Go.

We're a veteran-owned mental health practice that works with federal agencies, military organizations, state governments, and large employers. We provide workplace counseling, crisis response, employee wellness programs, and more — backed by 20+ years of experience inside government systems.

Why Partner With BFS

Why Agencies Choose to Work With Us

Veteran-Owned, Government Certified

We're officially certified as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) by the U.S. government. This means agencies can hire us directly through special programs designed for veteran-owned companies — making it faster and easier to get started.

You Can Hire Us Directly

In many cases, agencies can award contracts directly to us without the full competitive bidding process. We can help you with the paperwork to make that happen.

20+ Years of Real Experience

Our team has worked in military behavioral health, national crisis response, and federal programs for over two decades. We don't need training time — we show up ready to work from day one.

We Can Start Fast

Need a workplace wellness program set up in 30 days? A crisis team on-site within hours? We have the people and systems in place to move quickly when you need us.

Licensed Therapists, Not Subcontractors

Every program we run is staffed by our own licensed clinical team. Our founder and clinical director is a licensed therapist in three states with credentials in addiction counseling and substance abuse evaluation.

Built to Measure Results

Our leadership is trained in Lean Six Sigma (a data-driven approach to quality and efficiency). We don't just deliver programs — we track what's working, fix what isn't, and give you the numbers to prove it.

What We Deliver for Agencies

Programs We Can Set Up for You

Crisis Response & Emergency Support+

When a workplace emergency, natural disaster, or traumatic event affects your team, we provide on-site or virtual crisis counseling, group debriefings, and recovery support. We've been doing this nationally for 20+ years and can mobilize fast.

Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)+

We set up and run full employee support programs including short-term counseling (3–8 sessions), management consultation, 24/7 crisis access, substance use assessment, and confidential case management. Everything is fully compliant with HIPAA and federal privacy rules.

Substance Abuse Evaluations (DOT SAP)+

When an employee in a safety-sensitive role (trucking, aviation, transit, etc.) tests positive for substance use, they're required to see a qualified evaluator before returning to work. We provide those evaluations — in person or by telehealth.

Veteran & Military Mental Health Programs+

Specialized therapy for veterans, active-duty service members, and their families — covering trauma, moral injury, military sexual trauma, and substance use recovery.

Workplace Training & Resilience Programs+

We deliver training programs for your team — including mental health awareness, burnout prevention, trauma-informed practices, and leadership development. Available in-person or virtually.

Contract Vehicles & Acquisition

Easy Ways to Hire Us

We've made it simple for agencies to bring us on. We support multiple contracting methods so you can use the approach that works best for your organization.
